Thanks for posting, Duke. Can you confirm the diameter of the balance tube? It should be either 3/8" or 5/8" (it may also be 9/16", though it's considered 5/8" in the trade). Please double check and let me know!

Can you also tell me the weight of your window sash?
A quick learner says:
The diameter is very close to 1/2 inch, really 7/16th. So the closest option is 3/8.
The sash weight is 9.3 pounds
