Old aluminum windows

A home owner from Texas says:
Spiral window balance on aluminum windows installed in 1968. The windows no longer stay up. No identifiable markings on the spiral balances or windows.

The length of each spiral balance is 21". Not including the metal spiral that sticks out a bit on the end..

Hey there!

This looks like a spiral balance for a non-tilt window. If that's the case, see either our Series 400 (3/8" diameter tube) or Series 500 (5/8" diameter tube).
