Old crank window part

Home Owner from USA

Hello,

I have a series of old crank windows from the late 1950's or early 1960's. One of the window frames is completely off the track and we are missing the piece that connects the window frame to the inside track. I am attaching pictures of a window frame that is on its track - difficult to see the piece on which the window frame is pivoting but that's what we need- and pictures of the part on the window that connects to the missing piece. Can you help? Thank you very much in advance.

Best,

Jill

Hello,

I believe you will need to use something like the 36-021 or 36-021HD four-bar hinges to repair your older-style window. These hinges come in different lengths and heavy-duty options depending on the length of your existing track. You may also want to enlist the help of a professional for the installation. Take a look and thanks for posting.
