Opens but doesn't close

Question

My windows crank handle has come "unscrewed."  It will screw in and open, but when I turn it to close it comes unscrewed.  Not sure if I need to replace the whole thing or if there's a way to get a new handle.  I didn't know if it was factory pressed.

Thanks for posting. Yes, when that worm gear pops out with the handle, unfortunately it means the entire operator has worn down and should be replaced. Fortunately we should be able to help. I think you have the 39-156 Dual-Arm operator (the opposite-handed version is the 39-155). See below to ensure the dimensions match what you have.
