Hello,

Technically speaking, the 40-213 mortise lock isn't handed but I can see how you might run into an issue with the direction that the latch blot is facing. Luckily, this can be corrected. Take a look at our diagram here where we show how to flip the bolt to match the orientation of your door. Thanks for posting!
