PGP Window Balance Springs

Home Owner from Naples, FL
I need to replace the Balance Springs on my PGP Window. The ID on the Balance Springs is 2920G (the G is upside down). I need both Balance Springs.

Please let me know what else is needed.

Thanks.

Thanks for posting. I think we can help you replace these balances, but I am going to need to see them to identify the kind they are. The 2920G stamp refers to the calibration of the balance, rather than the type of balance it is. Could you show us a photo of one of the balances removed from the window, particularly any end attachments? If it is a Channel Balance, could you provide the length of the metal channel, not including the end attachments? Many thanks.

I believe the length of the balances is 31 inches. I also need a cap at the top of the sash. I have posted a picture of the balance next to a yard stick and two pictures; one of the cap in place and the other of the missing cap.

I tried to post the pictures but nothing happened when I clicked. Can I email the pictures to you? If so, please let me know the email address.

Hope this helps. Thanks for your help Bob.

I would try reducing the size of the images first. Some cameras save photos to be extra large, which can cause a strain on our site. In most cases reducing file size allows them to be uploaded without issue.

If that still fails, you can email us at help@swisco.com

Hi, Tom. The issue is that when I click on the Add Photos, nothing happens. I will email the photos to help@swisco.com.

Thanks, Tom.

Thank you! We just got them in. This balance looks similar to our S395-30. This comes with a 19-005 top fitting and 15-001 bottom fitting, so as long as those match then you should be good to go. Look it over and let me know what you think!
