PHP-28 window channel balance replacement

A home owner from Elk Grove says:

not sure what is the strength of the channel balance. on the balance has printed numbers and letters 25 5 EV CMC 7. could you please tell me what the strength is?

Hello! I think we can help with this. It looks like you're in need of our Series 380 or Series 385 balance in 26". To determine which one is correct for you, measure the bottom shoe attachment. If it measures 1", you'll need an S380-26 balance. If it measures 1-3/32" you can select an S385-26 balance. For either one, you can choose the 2550 option to correspond with your "25 5" stamp. This option supports a sash weight ranging from 25 to 28 lbs. Let us how this works out for you!
