Pacific Industries Spiral Balance Replacement

We have to replace the spiral balance on a few windows. We had a window company come out to look at it and told us that the windows are obsolete and cannot be repaired. He said we need to replace all the windows. Is there an option to replace spiral balances from Pacific Industries? It's a single hung, tilting window. Thanks!

I'd like to introduce you to the oldest trick in the book. It goes like this: "You need to replace the whole window." Yeah, right. Those balances can usually be easily replaced; we can give it a shot.
We would normally direct you to our spiral balance guide, which will walk you through the process of identifying your balance and hopefully saving your window, but you have given me almost enough information to identify the balance myself. If you'd like, reply to this post and fill me in with the rest of the necessary info, and I'll complete the identification. I'd like to know the diameter of the tube that contains the spiral. I'd also like to know what color the plastic tip at the bottom of the tube is. Thanks for coming to SWISCO!
