The window manufacturer is Kinco - Jax FL.
This clip stops the counter balance spring assemble at the top of the track which will allow you remove the window.
I can not remove the part to get a better image for fear of breaking it.
The one broken one I have measures 1.25 in in length and .25 in wide.
