This is for a bathroom sliding window. I need a new coil as the coil broke. Can you help me ID the part?

Thanks for posting. This looks like an older version of a Series 140 Coil Balance assembly. To know what spring weights to select, please give me the exact weight of the window sash this system supports. I can work it out for you from there.

Not sure of the exact weight but does this picture help. Right now there is almost enough tension in the other coil to keep the window up.

I am afraid not. The best thing to do is to remove the sash and place it on a bathroom scale. That should give us an accurate enough weight to go off of. You also could gently lower it on the scale if you place the scale on the sill--this isn't as accurate but might suffice if you take multiple measurements to be safe.

The window weights 12.5 lbs.

Thanks! With that in mind, my top suggestion is the S140-06. Two of these balances can carry a sash weight of 11 through 12.99 pounds, so that should be perfect for your application.
