Part on the Right
The part on the right is actually just more of the same coil. When these snap off into pieces, or when they're damaged in a certain way, they will curl in on themselves in separate loops. This gives the impression that they're two separate coils but they are in fact the same spring. It's just come a little undone.
In fact, I would wager the part on the right just broke off of the part on the left. What you're showing here is likely all one part, just come apart in pieces.

Also: is there a difference between 5.5 lbs and 6.5 lbs 1/2" coil? I'm not sure which one I'm supposed to get. Will they both work?

The 15-111 will not work for you, no. Your pivot shoe appears to be a match for the 15-199 instead. This is fully compatible with the 1/2" wide Series 160, which appears to be what you have.
As for the difference between the 5.5 and 6.5, those numbers represent how much weight they support. So in other words, 5.5 pounds and 6.5 pounds. If you don't get the right calibration then your window will not open or close properly. You should stick with whatever stamps your old springs had just to be safe.
