I have Patriot Windows installed 2004. These spring balance units sometimes come loose from the windows. I have found out how to reinstall the spring balance fro your video. thanks. However, I would like to look at a couple of replacement units because some of the windows are very difficult to raise, so I suspect the springs are either corroded and don't function. I guess that begs the question; is there some way these spring units can be lubricated to free up the up and down movement of the windows.
I have sent you three photos of the spring balance units, so hopefully from these you can identify the parts.

Hi, Bill. It's entirely possible that the balance springs are corroded or worn out, which could explain your problem. Try 3-In-One Oil on the springs to see if that helps, and if not, replace your balance with our Series 795 balance system. Let me know if you need more help!

How can I purchase the 795 balance system. I am assuming this will be compatible with my current Patriot Windows. Also do the balances come with instructions for removal and replacement.
In the mean time I will try some oil to see if this works.
Thanks, Bill Fox

Our balances don't come with directions, but take a look at the video on the right-hand side of the page. It shows the proper technique for replacing a tilt balance like the Series 795. Let us know if you have questions about the procedure.
