30C Bs1 Parts

30 inch channel with 30C and BS1 or BSL inscribed. Pivot shoe lock has the number 4 on the clip that holds the metal part in place. Plastic part of pivot shoe looks to have patent info "pat # 4810108" though it is well worn and I may be misreading. Channel width is 5/8

Hello! Your balance appears to be an older version of our Series 795. Look this product over and see what you think. Based on your stamp, you want the 30" model with the 30C weight rating. Please also note that our balance installs at the top using a screw tab, not a hook.

Ok, sounds good. Would I need to purchase additional hardware to use the screw tab?

If your balance does not attach at the top of the window using a screw, then it would change my recommendation somewhat. Can you show me what it uses, instead? If it's a hook, can you show me where in the window it attaches?

I believe it uses a hook. Just below the top corners on either side. Thanks

Thank you! That's a huge help. So, a hook is not a standard option for this balance. In ordinary circumstance we would have to do a custom order wherein we attach a hook to the cord for you here in our shop before we ship it out.

However your hook connects to a square hole in the jamb, which makes your project a lot easier. Instead of having to order a custom balance, you could simply purchase our 26-200 screw plug (sold separately) and pop that in that hole. That would allow you to use our standard screw-on Series 795 without issue.
