Hello, so obviously the picture on the right is the crank the strip of metal on the left is the piece attached to the bottom of the window sash that the guides on the end of the arms to open and close the window

Thanks for writing in! Your awning operator reminds me of the 39-239B Encore Awning Operator. Although, since yours appears to have a good amount of rust on it, you may want to consider the stainless steel version, part 39-239C.

The black piece at the end of the arm (sold separately) is the 39-536 Truth Hardware Pivot Slide assembly. This piece slides in the 39-556 Maxim Awning Stainless Steel Track.
