Patio Door Locking mechanism

Question

Hello,

Locking mechanism does not lock; wheel sprocket which catches the hook at mortise does not stay put. Slider is about in the 1960's, no name brand available.

I'm ok if we can replace the handle, locking mechanism, mortise, etc. Door frame is one-inch thick. Handle screw holes, 3-3/4" apart.

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not carry an exact match for the old-style handle set but we do offer the 82-005 surface-mounted handle set. You would need to make new installation holes to accommodate the 4-15/16" hole spacing, being careful not to hit the glass in your door. You would also need to make sure that you have space to install the new keeper. Take a look at the video below to see if this could work for your repair. Thank you!
