Patio door handle

I am looking for a solution that will allow me to lock the door from the outside.

Looking at your photos, my first thought brings me to our 82-306. However, I am not sure if the key cylinder tail will interact with your inside handle. Your best bet will probably go with a new 82-005 surface mount handle set. Also, adding the 82-306 for a keyed exterior pull. Both of these products are 100% compatible with each other. Review both parts and see what you think.

I can't believe that I missed this - LAST YEAR! My gosh.

These parts appear to be exactly what I need. I will also need the keeper (89-012)- though, I am not yet sure how to mount the keeper (see 3rd & 4th photos). I may need to customize it by adding two holes on the same side as the latch, but this may interfere with the latchng mechanism itself.

Good enough to order some parts and give it a shot.

The 82-005 does come with a keeper included. This keeper should work on your door but ake a look at the related videos to get a better idea of the installation process. Thank you.

Ah. I guess I have an extra part on order. I wonder if I could remove it.
