Patio door lock inset

Question

I ordered wrong part initially. The one you sent had 2 lock holes. I need one like this pictured with 1 lock hole.

Thanks for reaching out! Your mortise lock does appear to be the 82-265, however your lock appears to be made without the faceplate. There is a chance that the 82-265 could still work but you would need to remove the faceplate.

In regard to the lock hole, the number of slots should not effect its function. The second lock hole is to accommodate different latch setups since this lock is compatible with a few different style handle sets.
