Patriot balances

A quick learner from USA says:
I have orphaned Patriot windows on my home and issues with channel balance with one of them. Please see the pictures.

Do you sell replacement parts for this window? In case you do, do you also supply installation instructions? Can I replace them myself or, perhaps, special tool are required?

Thank you very much!

Hello! You can't repair the broken balance channel, unfortunately. It's just too difficult and dangerous. You can replace it with our Series 795 tilt balance, though, as long as your bottom shoe is the same as our 15-195. I don't believe you showed us that end of the balance, so I can't confirm. You'll need to measure the metal channel and look for a stamp on the outside of the channel, as well.
A home owner from Cranbury, NJ says:
Mike,
Thank you for the response.
I am not sure what "bottom shoe" is.
The metal part is 36" long, and the stamp says "36C fBSI".
I hope this clarifies the thing.

The bottom shoe is the "T" shaped nylon pivot piece you see on our Series 795 balance. If you don't have this, then the Series 795 is not a match. It's whatever piece connects the balance to the sash.
