Patriot window parts

A home owner from West Deptford, NJ says:
We have single hung bottom tilt-in Windows that were put in when our home was built 23 years ago. The Windows do not stay open or can be difficult to open.

Will replacing the part fix the problem? Is so, can you supply the part?

Thanks for posting. The part you're showing is the pivot shoe. It looks to be in good condition, actually. If your windows are not staying open, then it is likely a problem with the balance, instead. Since you specifically have a spiral balance, you may be able to simply adjust it to get the tension back. Check out the guide below to see how you can do this.
