Pivot Boots

A home owner from Cary, NC says:
I need to replace few pivot boots for windows in my home. I measured the depth and it is between 1/4" and 5/8". It is surely not 5/8",more like 9/16". Looks like I should go for 15-046, which is 1/4", rather than 15-047, which may not go into that slot. Just wanted to confirm that is the right choice. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi- thanks for posting!

Without knowing the exact depth of your old shoe, I can't really confirm one way or the other. I can tell you that our 15-046 pivot shoe is very popular with the residential vinyl window manufacturers. We don't think the 15-047 will fit your window, since its more for commercial use.
