Pivot Shoe

A home owner from Ocean Springs says:
I recently purchased 46 Pivot Shoes, Item Number 15-047,
as replacements for my vinyl tilt windows. The windows are single hung, therefore only one sash tilts out. When the pivot bar is inserted into the cam and twisted, similar to that which will occur when the window is tilted outward, the small piece on the rear of the shoe disengages from the shoe. Do I have the correct shoe for my windows?
A home owner from Ocean Springs says:
I received window tools in my shipment from SWISCO, providing the equipment I required to remove an existing window shoe. After the removal of the shoe, I learned the shoes I received with the above mentioned shipment, are the incorrect size. I would like to have permission to send the shoe removed from my window to you, along with the incorrect shoes, and you determine the type and size I will need to repair my windows.

Your assistance would greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting! I'm sorry to hear our 15-047 didn't work out for you. You don't have to send your old shoe in, though. You can just snap a couple of pictures of it removed from the window and upload those pictures to this thread. That way you don't have to wait so long. We will also need you to tell us the width and thickness, the two most important dimensions. Thanks!

Last Friday I returned the 46 shoes, 15-047.

I sent an email earlier regarding a problem with the photographing of the existing shoe, and have not received a response.

I am attaching pictures and dimensions, although I am as bit uncomfortable as mentioned in my previous email.-

Thank you for the images. I'm afraid I cannot determine its size based on these pictures, though. Can you confirm the width and thickness?
A home owner from Ocean Springs says:
Size of the existing Pivot Shoe appears to be 1-1/4" wide x 1/2" thick

Ah, I see. That clears things up. You never want to buy a pivot shoe based on color. Size is far more important. Based on your dimensions, I think you should consider our 15-046.
