Thanks all- looking for a replacement for this broken piece which I believe is a pivot shoe lock.
the make/model info I could find on the window: SERIES: 0350 ES / 03A0 ES SH,

Hey there. This looks like the 15-177 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 152 Coil Balance springs. Let me know if you have further questions.

Thank you so much! How can you tell which weight to use on the coil balance? And when replacing, does it make sense to replace any other componenets that may have been impacted by this failure?

To know what spring weights to select, you must weigh the window sash that these coil springs support. The video below explains. If you're uncertain how to proceed, give me that exact sash weight and I'll calculate it for you.
