Hi there and thank you for writing in. We'd like you to take a look at both our 15-173 and 15-219 pivot shoes. Could either one of these be a match to your existing shoe? Look them over and let us know.

A quick learner from Newport News, VA says:
Hi and thank you for your response. I may be terrible at taking pictures, or it might be the broken pivot bar that I was unable to remove. The pivot bar is a 26-412. The dimensions most closely resemble 15-015, but the locking mechanism resembles that shown on 15-046.

Paul from SWISCO responded:

We would need to see some photos showing a current pivot bars of yours that's not damaged to determine if the 26-412 is a match or not. As for your pivot shoe, could we have you provide us with the width, height, and thickness of the pivot shoe to see what other options of pivot shoe we can suggest to you?

A quick learner from Newport News, VA says:
Hello again. I am fairly confident on the 26-412, as I have replaced the pivot bars on an identical window and they worked well. Unfortunately, the window that I am currently repairing has had both pivot bars break. As for the shoe, the dimensions are 17/32 thick, 1-1/4 wide, 2-1/16 tall.

Based on all the information you gave us, it sounds like you may have the old style Silverline or American Craftsman replacement window that uses the 26-412 pivot bar, as you say, you have. This can be used with the newer style, 15-046 pivot shoe.

I hope this has answered your question.
