Pivot locking shoe

Quick Learner from Atlanta, Georgia

Dear customer service

Please help me to identify part for Locking shoe:

Ideally I'd like to replace pivots that made from very soft alloy and with the time breaking up. If this part not available as the separate item then I will consider locking pivot shoe that I have dimensions for. The coil spring attaches to locking shoe through the grove in the coiled up profile. I am sure you've seen those a lot

Please send me the quote for those for 30 pieces (Pivots or Locking Pivot Shoe)

Thank you

Michael

Thanks for writing in! We do not carry an exact match for your existing pivot shoe. Although, our coil balance assembly looks like it could possibly be our Series 140 Quick-Tilt Balances. To determine if this is the right fit for your window, you'll need to carefully compare the dimensions shown below.

Once you've confirmed that the dimensions are a match, you'll be able to select the spring strength needed for your window from the list of balances shown in the link above. If there are no stamps/marking to indicated the spring strength you need, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of your sash. You'll then divide the sash weight by the number of coils in the window (in your case 4) or by 2.

For example, if you have a sash weight of 24lbs, you would divide that by 4 to get 6. Which would mean you'd need the S140-12.
