Pivot pieces rusted at bottom of sash.

A quick learner from Bassett, Virginia says:

Need 3" metal pieces to replace original rusted parts. They are at the bottoms of the sashes and fit into the balances. vinyl windows. See sketch.

I am wondering if the 26-068 pivot bar will be correct for this repair. If so I need 16 of them. Thank you.

Sounds like you need a new pivot bar. The 26-068 very well may be what you need, but it depends entirely on the hole positions. You need to make sure they match so that they'll install in the sash at the same position without having to redrill new holes.

The 26-040 is another common choice for this style, but again it all comes down to the hole position.

We have detailed dimensions on each product's store page that you can use as a reference.

thank you for your input, will check hole position and place the order.
