Pivot shoe

Question

Hello, I have an American Craftsman series 8500 tilt double hung window.
Looking for the bottom sash pivot locking shoe and coil spring.
I placed an order for 2, #S161-08. The housing measurements were right on.
But the locking collar looks a little different. My old one has a locking collar the same as #15-087. The #15*087 housing is just a touch too wide and too thick.
My old one is 9/16" x 1/1/4"
Did I order the correct ones?

Hello there. Yes, at first glance this looks more like the 15-087, the dimensions notwithstanding. The Series 161 might work anyway, but the issue is that, due to the different cam, it may not work with the pivot bar in your window. Since you already purchased it, we recommend giving the Series 161 a try. If it doesn't work, you can always return it (see our return policy here) and then try the 15-087 and the Series 180 Coil Balances, sold separately, instead. Let me know what you think.
