Pivot shoe

Thanks for posting. Sorry that the 15-192 Pivot Shoes did not work out for you. Although these Certainteed shoes look like yours, you have a Simonton window and we have found the parts are not interchangeable, despite their similar design. Sometimes people get the 15-192 to work by 'sanding down' the alignment nubs on the face of the shoe, but we've found this doesn't always work either. Unfortunately, the exact Simonton system is no longer made.

Because of this problem we have designed an alternative solution. You can replace the old Simonton setup with the 15-259 Pivot Shoe. This will require however you replacing the coil springs as well with the Series 159. We have a video that explains the entire process. See below.
