Pivot shoe coil spring

A quick learner from Corydon, Indiana says:
This is 1-1/4"Wide x 1-1/2"Tall x 1/2" thick. The spring is stamped F8. The window weighs 16lbs. Is it available, or what would the replacement be? Is it parts, or is there a whole assembly?
This was a Patriot Double hung Type "VSDH" Code "GVW-K-1"
Thank you,
Dwight

Hi, Dwight.

This looks like a dead ringer for our 15-177, which uses the Series 152 coil springs, but review our dimensions to see if you agree.

How many coil springs are on each side of the window? From your pictures, it looks like it could be just one. If that's the case, you can use two 8 pound S152-8 coil springs. One of these on each side of the window would total 16 pounds of overall support.

All of these parts are sold separately as well.
