Plain Channel balance assembly

Request #1

Hi,

Please, from your very helpful site, I need to order two 32'' Plain Channel balance assembly as I have a broken string on one side and want to replace both sides at the same time because they are 30 years old.  One side is identified as a 32D and the other as a 3200 inch, are they the same size?

Thanks!

Mandine

Thanks so much for reaching out to us. A 32D stamp is normal, but 3200 is peculiar. These stamps should be identical; furthermore, 3200 is a strange stamp in general. Our database doesn't have a reference for what this might have been.

If I were you, I would err on the side of caution and weigh your sash on a scale to confirm which S795-32 balance is best for you. We have a chart on that store page that tells you exactly how much weight each option supports. That way you don't have to guess, you'll know exactly what stamp is best for this application.
