The window ballast part is 30 inches in length from each end. There is a marking of "28D" stamped in the metal. This window is a basic type of window that appears to be very similar to the type (based upon the push mechanism) featured in the following Swisco demo video on youtube.com titled "How to replace a non-tilt window channel balance". Attached are a number of photos and I used a tape measure to show the dimensions in the pictures. Let me know if you need other measurements.

Thanks for posting! Before I can offer an applicable replacement for this channel balance, I just need to know a bit more information about the bottom attachment. Please take a look at our 15-004 and 15-005 channel balance shoes, and note their depths. As you can see, they are 1-3/32" deep and 1" deep, respectively. Which one more closely matches your own bottom attachment?

The shoe is approximately 1-inch, slightly under if anything. See attached photos. Does it look like you have an option for me? Thanks!

Great. In that case, I recommend our Series 380 balance. Your shoes may have just been worn down over time.
