Could you please help to find the correct replacement part. Our window does not stay open anymore and simply slides down. The balancers says letter 'L' and number '9'

Thanks for writing in! This coil balance assembly appears to be our Series 161 Roller-Tilt Coil Balance. Given that yours is stamped with a 9, you'll need the S161-09. These are not specified for right or left. To confirm that this is the right replacement, look over the dimensions and carefully compare them to your existing hardware is a match.
