Polaris Window coil is stamped 336 S

Question

This is OEM in Polaris windows installed before I bought my house.
It is a double-hung window and both sashes tilt. I am having an issue of locating the correct parts needed. The coil is broke on both sides. I will replace whatever is needed. All other parts seem to be ok, but are at least 25 years old.

Hello,

Your coil balance shoe was actually discontinued recently. The good news is that the 15-177 will work as a replacement. It is also used with the same S152 coil springs, along with the related accessories.

I'm not familiar with the stamp code on your coil spring so I would recommend weighing the window sash that the balances support. From there, you can divide the weight by the number of coils used on both sides to determine the corresponding strength options. Thank you!
