Problem w/ Multi-Point Mortise Lock & Keeper

I ordered part #182-239 : Multi-Point Mortise Lock and Keeper, 9-7/8" (SWISCO.com order #114061) for my back sliding glass door lock mechanism. Unfortunately the keeper is not long enough to match the mounting holes on my door, and I can not use the lock with my current keeper, as the screw holes where your lock and my keeper mount together do not align. Do you have a different part that will work on my door?

Hello and thanks for contacting us. Sorry to hear about your problem with the 82-239. I'm not sure why it didn't work, as it looks to be our best match with what you have. Have you taken a look at our 82-249? It is designed to work with the 82-239 and is a little more robust than what comes with the 82-239. If it also doesn't work you can return both products for a refund, and we can try to find another solution. Let me know what you think!

Thanks for the reply. I think I said keeper, when I should have said "plate that goes with the lock mechanism". I've included pictures of the door, the original keeper still in place, and lock with plate mechanisms (old and 82-249). With the ruler, you can see that it is ~11 1/4 inches between attach points on the door. The plate associated with 82-249 is only ~10 inches between screw holes (top/right of ruler in pic). Old lock and plate are shown left/below ruler. Hope this helps clarify the problem.
