Question

Good Morning All,

We have five sliding doors which need the rollers replaced and your 81-279 looks and measures just like the ones we have. The only thing is ours has nylon/plastic wheels. Do you offer this product with nylon/plastic? If not, can we order w/o wheels and buy the plastic ones and axles and add ourselves? Or, are the metal ones better and we should change? The attached picture is from the handle and thought you may be able to identify the manufacturer to be certain we have the correct replacement product.

As long as all of the specifications match up to your original roller besides the wheel material, the 81-279 would still work for you. The debate between nylon and steel wheels comes down to personal preference rather than function. The nylon wheels can be a bit quieter but the steel wheels tend to be more durable. If you'd prefer to stick with nylon, you're welcome to purchase the 81-228 wheel and 81-304 axle to replace the steel wheel that comes with the 81-279. Thanks for posting!
