Question regarding 79-128 Installation

A quick learner from Nebraska says:
I have a Kawneer door that would have been installed in 1975. I have been looking at your pivot sets and trying to determine which one I need. The closest match is the 79-128 I believe. I have not had the door apart but the hole pattern for the top piece matches and the outside is the same shape (flat front rather than rounded). My question is concerning the part of the bottom piece that slide in behind the frame. The hole pattern for this part is vertical and but the hole pattern for what I have is horizontal. Can I use this part and drill holes in my frame to match the holes in the part?

Hello,

For a Kawneer commercial door, I would suggest using the 79-124 pivot set. This is for newer Kawneer doors. If yours is the older style, you'll need to retrofit it to your door. Take a look at the 79-124 product page, along with the related video, for more information. Thanks for posting.
