Re Casement Operator

Question

Hi. I am desperate for help. The mechanism to open and close my two bay windows broke. The handle doesn't crank. The arm seems to work but I dont know exactly what I need replaced.There is no names or numbers or markings found anywhere on the window to help me figure out who to contact.

Thanks for posting. When the gear that holds the crank handle to the operator pops out with the handle, it means the entire casement operator has broken and should be replaced. Thanks to your photos I am pretty sure you have either the 39-032 (the opposite-handed version is the 39-031) or the 39-156 (the opposite version being the 39-155). The only difference between these two operators is the length of the arms, as shown below. Measure your old operator arms to see what matches best. For new covers and handles, see the 39-114L and 39-107 sold separately.
