Hi,
I need to replace the coil balance and pivot shoe for the lower sash on a double hung window.
I can't find any identifying numbers.
The coil metal band is exactly 1/2 inches wide. (As you can see, it looks like a double coil system on each side of the window.)
As far as I can tell, the window slot for the balance and pivot shoe is 1 inch wide.
The window sash weighs 24.5 lbs, according to my home scale.
I'd appreciate whatever help you can give in identifying the parts I need for replacement.
Thanks, Mark

The lower window sash itself measures 29 1/2 inched tall by 39 inches wide.
The maximum travel distance from closed to fully open is 25 1/2 inches.

Hi Mark. This looks like an older version of the 15-177 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 152 Coil Balance springs. For a sash that weighs exactly 24.5 pounds, you can use the S152-4 4 pound spring and S152-8 8 pound spring, one of each on both sides of the sash. This will give you 12 pounds of support on either side, for a grand total of 24 pounds of support. If your old coil spring covers are undamaged you can reuse them--otherwise see the newer style 15-143, 15-144 and 15-145. These parts sandwich around each coil. Let me know if you have further questions.
