Replace entire kit

Quick Learner from Indiana
Hello,
I would like to replace the handles / lock system / keeper. Can you help me with exact part or kit numbers in the correct color.

At first glance, this mortise lock appears to be our 82-265. I see that is what you ordered; is there any reason it didn't work out for you? Note that sometimes one has to use the newer 82-249 Keeper with this mortise lock for it to work correctly; and even then we've had instances where customers had to pack out the keeper to ensure it interfaces correctly with the double latches. Let me know if any of these options work for you, or if you have any other questions.

Yes, the one I purchased would not catch the keeper so I thought it was the wrong one even though it fit perfectly. So do I just install a spacer behind the keeper to acquire the correct depth or can I purchase a keeper that will fit the frame correctly with a needed spacer?

Replacing the keeper with the 82-249 has definitely worked for past customers. Study the dimensions of the keeper below. If yours differ at all, then I think the new keeper is worth trying. Even then though, in some cases packing out the keeper was also needed; if the anti-slam button on the 82-265 isn't activated, the setup doesn't work, and the keeper needs to have the proper depth for that to be correct.

Thank you very much! I will order a new keeper and adjust the depth.
