Replace pins or caps

Hi- I have missing and worn caps (bottom and top). Can I just remove and replace caps, or do I need to replace new pins with caps? What part(s) do I need to buy?

Pin height- 4.75 inch
Cap height- 1/2 inch
Cap width- 3/8 inch
Pin width- 1/4 inch

Thanks for getting back to us with the requested information. We have the 21-100 nylon cap that measures 3/8" wide by 3/8" high and fits a 1/4" diameter pin. We also odder the 21-106 nylon cap that measures 3/8" wide by 7/16" high and fits a 3/16" diameter pin. I would recommend removing your old cap to see if the pin is 1/4" all the way up to the cap or ground down to 3/16".
