Replace replaced sliding door handle, inside and out

A quick learner from California says:
Current handle screw holes are 4 15/16" apart
Hook lock system into doorframe, see photo
Current outdoor handle is too short at 71/4", opening hole on door is 8" see photo
We would like 2 easy to grab handles for inside and outside

I'm afraid I couldn't find a handle that can fit your cutout. Without seeing the original hardware, I'm not sure what to recommend. That said, take a look at the 82-261B. This comes with a 8" cover plate. Could you possibly use this?
A quick learner from California says:
This one would not work because the holes in the door are 4 15/16, not 3 15/16.
Do you have any other suggestions?

I don't think there is, unfortunately. Because of that giant cutout in your door, your options are limited. The only other possibility would be to have a hardware store cut a plate of metal to size so you can cover it, then drilling new holes for a surface mount handle set like the 82-005.
