Replacement

Home Owner from Selma, NC

Good morning.  I need to replace these items on our windows.  Home built in 1999.  The length of this is 32" which I measured per your website's instructions.  The tip of the support is white (best I can tell) and the diameter (plastic sheath) is shown above. I believe it is 3/8"

I believe I would need the screws and the brackets that the spring supports fit into, in addition to the charging wrench.

Thanks for your assistance!

Hello,

You have spiral balances for tilt windows, which would attach to a pivot shoe. We would need to see your pivot shoe uninstalled and have you write out the exact width and thickness to confirm the correct replacement. In the meantime, you can start by looking over the 15-046.

As for the thickness of the tube, you could have the 3/8" S900-32 or the 9/16" thick S600-32 series balance which is considered 5/8" in the window trade. Take a look at the related parts, along with the videos, to help you confirm the correct replacement parts. Thanks for posting!
