Replacement Balance Coil for Simonton lower sash on double hung window

Question

Looking to replace right side lower balance springs ion Simonton double hung window. Appears to my uneducated eye to be double spring. Window installed in 2007. Did not remove as I need to wait to spread the channel for removal.
Also looking for replacement locks between upper and lower sash.

Hey there,

Your Simonton window balances are no longer made but the 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe can be used to replace the shoe in the assembly. This is compatible with the Series 159 Coil Balance. Be sure to take a look at the video tutorials tagged below this thread for details on the conversion and how to select the coil springs.

The window lock can be replaced with the 90-161 Window Lock & Keeper. Carefully look over the dimensions below and compare them to confirm this is the right fit.
