Replacement Operators

A quick learner from Denver says:

Hello! Need replacements. These are Entry Guard. There is R 30842 stamped on the short elbowed arm. This Window opens with the hinge on the left when looking at it from the inside of the home. I would also like to know if a folding crank arm is available for the replacement. I currently have short and stubby wing arms that still get in the way of the blinds.

Thank you!

Mike

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hey Mike. Take a look at our 39-031 and 39-032 Operators, or our 39-155 and 39-156 Operators. There are just slight differences in the link arm dimensions for both of these sets, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. For a new cover, see our 39-107. For a new handle, see our 39-114L

A quick learner from Denver says:
Hello Bob! Thank you for the reply. I am going to need two of the 39-032. I was curious if the 39?107FK handle works with these.

Thanks
Mike

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hey Mike. Yes, the 39-107FK can certainly work with the 39-032 or the 39-031. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I guess this begs the question. My other window operators are in fine condition. However, they either have a wingnut handcrank or an arm that does not fold in. Can these cranks also be replaced with the 39-107FK?

Bob from SWISCO responded:

It depends on the type of operator they are. For instance, if they're also the 39-031 and 39-032, then the 39-107FK should work. There's a few factors at play here, including the diameter of the spline (it should be 11/32") and whether or not the spline is centered on the operator base, among other things. If you're uncertain, show us a picture of these other operators, with and without the existing cover removed, and we should be able to determine it for you.
