Replacement Pivot Shoe & Tilt Latches

A home owner from Warrington, PA says:
We are having two issues with this window.

One, it appears that the latch to pull the window into the house to clean has broken - picture one. Are we able to replace this ourselves?

The part in picture two is stuck or broken and we can't move it to get it attached back to the window. So right now when we pull the window into the house we have to basically hold the left side of the window up.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Thanks for posting. That pivot shoe appears to be our 15-177. You can replace this yourself, although you'll need to remove the entire coil balance assembly to do this. See the video below for details. For the tilt latches, see if our 26-243 and 26-244 match what you need.

First, thank you so much! This saved us so much time and money vs calling a repair guy. So glad we found you from a Facebook recommendation in a community group.

My husband was able to fix the coil, and we just ordered the tilt latch.
