Hey there!

I'm afraid we can't identify what Series of balances you have from this photo alone. I would need you to remove an undamaged balance and show us clear photos of the top and bottom fittings in order to help. The related video will go over exactly what we're looking for.

A handy person from Florida says:
Sure thing! Please see photos attached.

Emily from SWISCO responded:

Thank you! This balance looks like it could be our Series 395. This has a 19-005 top and 15-001 bottom nylon fitting. As long as those match up then you should be good to go.

A handy person from Florida says:
Thank you for you help! One last question: It appears my stamp (shown in photo) is a "28 4 JL" and I was wondering if you might know which sash weight range this corresponds to?

Emily from SWISCO responded:

Certainly! You would want the 2840 spring strength option based on your 28 4 stamp. A pair of balances with this option will support a sash weighing 23 to 28 pounds.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
