Replacement Pivot Bars and Screw Plugs

Hi there,

I need to replace old channel balances and the only markings on mine are patent #5.737.877. From your site, I determined these were the old 850 crossbow channel balances and I needed the S795-28 with a 28C option for my window. However, now that I have my window sash down, after watching some of your videos. I believe I need new pivot bars and screw plugs for my window. My old window balances are in such bad shape they are just in pieces, but it doesn't appear the old balances were screwed in, which is why I'm wondering if I need the screw plugs. There's a hole near the top of my window, is this where a screw plug would fit?

Can you recommend which items I should buy?

Thanks for writing in. For your pivot bar, take a look at our 26-366. The screw plugs are our 26-200. For your Series 795 balances, you will need them to screw-in; the old crossbow balances had different ways of installing. let me know if you have any other questions.
