Replacement Window Coil Balances Needed

Hi,

I'm trying to find a window coil balance to replace the broken ones I have in two of my windows. See attached window model sticker and the balance itself. Will your S140-20 be a possible replacement? Do you have any suggestions?

Hey, James, thanks for contacting us. Take a look at our 15-180 pivot shoe. Does this look like a match? If so, you should also check out our Series 190 coil spring, 15-181 clip and 15-182 bushing. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for your response Tom. I don't have these windows handy right now, they're in a rental...Does the setup you mentioned require one or two coil springs per set? What you've provided looks like a match.

Not a problem. The parts I recommended are pretty flexible, so there's no set number of springs, per say. It all depends on what you had installed in the window originally.
