Product Description
This is a Series 140 replacement constant force balance system for tilt windows. It moderates the operation of your window sash using specifically calibrated coil springs that allows the window to stay open when raised and remain shut when closed.
- This balance comes complete with a pivot shoe, dual coil springs, and coil spring cover.
- The springs are stainless steel and Teflon-coated to be corrosion resistant.
- Travel extension: 32-1/2"
- Fits pocket size 9/16" x 1-1/4" (.562 x 1.292).
- A pair of 20 lb assemblies will carry 39-40.99 lbs, (sold individually). The weight you need should be indicated as a stamp or imprint on your old balance cartridge cover.
- Each assembly can work for either the left or right side of the window interchangeably.
Good Idea!
For best results, replace window balances in pairs (though sold individually). An old balance will overwork a new one, causing faster wear and uneven operation. Paired replacement ensures optimal, lasting performance.
