I need a replacement pivot shoe for my tilt window

Home Owner from Niantic, CT
Hi. The metal cam in my window pivot shoe broke. Now, I need a replacement pivot shoe (see figure). The shoe is 1 3/8" wide, 5/8" deep and 2 5/8" long before connecting to the lower half of the spring. Do you have this part in stock or a similar replacement (either with or without a replacement spring). Thank you

Your pivot shoe looks similar to our 15-087 at first glance, but you mentioned that yours has a metal cam. Ours has a nylon cam. I think that indicates that you have a particular older version of our shoe that is no longer made.

The 15-087 may still work, but to be 100% sure I'd like to see a picture of the pivot bar that goes into it. That will allow us to confirm if it's compatible with our shoe or, if not, what can work instead.

Can you also confirm your dimensions? Our 15-087 is 1-3/16" wide and 1/2" thick.

As best I can tell, the shoe is 1/2" deep and 1-3/8" wide. It is difficult to be sure though as I haven't removed the shoe from the from window frame.

I've attached photos of the pivot bar as well as the still working pivot shoe, so you can see the metal cam.

Hey there, I think I can help. The 15-087 actually won't work for your old balance. What you have here is an older system that is no longer made. Instead, we recommend the Series 140. I believe this will be compatible with your pivot bar and will allow your window to function properly.

Based on the stamps on your old housing, I recommend the S140-20

Let me know if you had any questions.

Thanks. The S140-20 is the full assembly, correct?

This balance system comes complete with a pivot shoe, dual coil springs, and coil spring cover.
