Home Owner from Whittier, CA
Hi there,

Looking for a replacement for a broken window lock (see attached screenshot). Hoping you can point me in the right direction!

Let me know if you need any additional information.

Thank you,
Kris

Hello, Kris. I'm afraid I don't recognize this lock, at least not from this angle. Can you show it to me from the top? Also, if that's a top cover you're showing me, can you remove it and show me the mechanism underneath? If not, then you can just ignore that request.

Thanks for the response,
This window slides both up and down.
After looking closely at the window I can't see how the locking mechanism can be replaced without taking apart the window; there are no screws to access. Perhaps you could have some other options?

Here's a few photos to reference
1) over head of lock in window track
1/8" wide and 3/8" deep
2) front of lock screwed into track on window
3) over head view on inside window of locking mechanism in unlocked position
4) locking mechanism in locked position on inside window
5) over head view on inside window of locking mechanism in locked position

Thanks for getting back to us. What you have here appears to be an older version of a latch mechanism assembly that we sell; see the 90-252 mechanism and the 90-253 cover. These parts are sold separately. What you'll have to do to remove the original is pop the cover off in order to access the screws underneath.
